2013 Polaris 800 RMK
This was my Final Project for Graphic Communications: 216 3D Modeling class. I have a very strong passion for outdoor action sports and snowmobiling is at the top of that list. I have always been a die hard Polaris fan and that inspired me to create this project.
The hidden joke in this design is that Polaris makes a snowmobile called the "Dragon," and Minnesota State University Moorhead's mascot is the "Dragon." I used our school logo instead of the one Polaris designed.
USS Gilbert Riskey
This was my final project for Graphic Communications: 416 3D Animation. The Air Craft Carrier was modeled from scratch. I modeled the p47 fighter jet in a previous class assignment. The helicopter and single pilot plane are free models I used as place holders. Along with this model is a short animation of the helicopters flying in, and a p47 plane taking off for duty. Inspiration for this piece came from my grandfather being in the Navy when he was my age. I named the ship after him.
Excavator
This was my Final Project for Graphic Communications: 290 Maya class. This was my first 3D Modeling project where I got to pick what I was building. With a recent change to GCom from Graphic Design I was thrilled to finally create something of my choice! All 3D Model creations are fun, however this was me pushing myself to be bigger and better!
